Payments to Creditors

The Treasury serves as the Government's central paymaster in respect of goods and services supplied to bureaux and departments.

To receive payments, Government's creditors may choose:

  • direct credit to their bank accounts (the speedier and more efficient way); or
  • crossed cheques sent by post.

To receive payments by direct credit to your bank account, please download the form, complete it and send it to the Treasury or to the bureau or department to which you normally issue your invoices.

Government's creditors paid by the direct credit method can receive our remittance advices by:

  • e-mail,
  • fax, or
  • post.

We pledge to effect payments to creditors within 30 calendar days after receipt of goods/services or invoices by bureaux/departments.
